ni-msme celebrated Khadi Mohotsav in association with KVIC State Office. A Mini Khadi Exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Subhash Chandra Lal Das, IAS, Secretary, MoMSME, GoI. The objective is to empower artisans with a view to provide a platform for them to sell a variety of products under a single roof. Smt. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary (SME), Ministry of MSME, GoI and Dr. S. Glory Swarupa, Director General, ni-msme visited the Exhibition and interacted with all the exhibitors. The Joint Secretary enquired about the challenges of artisans and how ni-msme could help them in increasing their production and productivity. Students from Geetanjali Sr. Secondary School visited the exhibition and participated in the Pledge taking ceremony led by Dr. Manoj Lanka, Director, KVIC State Office, Telangana. While many students participated in spinning the charkha, others got themselves delighted in seeing the live demonstration of clay products on potter’s wheel.
