Adoption of Agri-Tech in India: Opportunities and Challenges

Abstract

The issue of adoption of Agri-Tech has received worldwide attention. It is a term that refers to the use of technological innovations in agriculture to increase production, efficiency, and profitability. The present study revealed that Agri-Tech not only brings innovation but also create new opportunities and opens up new markets. It also helps in better supply chain management and promotes more production and help for sustainable development. The main objective of this study is to examine the opportunities and challenges faced by Agri-Tech in India to promote sustainable agriculture development. An attempt has also been made to explore emergence of Agri-Tech startups in India. Secondary data has been used, collected from the various related research journal, books, published reports, Indiastat, websites, etc.
