Imbursement Through M-Wallets: A Study on Post Covid-19 EpidemicInclination Trend

Abstract

The amplified impaled of Covid-19 virus and hasty announcement of the lockdown adversely disturb the entire world and business, the banking sector was one of them which unfavourably affected by the Covid-19 and lockdown, publics were finding the way to operate the simpler and faster way to perform the banking operations. Unlike the Demonetisation of 2016 mobile wallets and digital payment resolutions played a vibrant part to support the users in the baking transactions. This study frame with aim to study out the post impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the usage, examine the change in pattern of the payments and to find out the proportion growth in new operators of m-wallets and NFC after pandemic. The data was collected from 120 respondents through questionnaire, Anova and F-test was applied to find out the results. There is a confident influence of pandemic on usage and payments made done over mobile wallets and there is positive transformation in the payments and spending through MW and NFC post pandemic. This was also found that there is positive increase in the users of the MW after lockdown retro in respects to factors like convenient, faster, secure and safer & increased availability of structure to imburse digitally with the practice of MW and NFC payment system.
